Arlington Senior Babe Ruth Summer Baseball and All-Stars

ASBR 13u and 14u Summer Baseball

ASBR will invite players from the spring house season to play in the one local tournament in mid-June.  We could form more than one team.  The Arlington United 13u District team will participate in this same tournament.  There is not a Virginia 13u Babe Ruth Tournament.

ASBR 14u All-Stars

The Arlington United 14u District team will represent ASBR in the Virginia 14u Babe Ruth Tournament.  The tournament trail will begin in late June or early July.

ASBR 15u-16u All-Stars

An open tryout will be held on Monday, November 10, 7pm-9pm, at Barcroft Park field #6 (GWU Tucker Field) for players interested in playing for the ASBR 15-16u All-Star team next summer.  The team will play several open tournaments in June before playing in the Babe Ruth State Tournament trail.  The Babe Ruth trail tournaments will be held in July.

ASBR 16u-18u All-Stars

Arlington Senior Babe Ruth will form a 16u-18u All-Star team to participate in the Virginia Babe Ruth tournament trail.  The team will play in several open tournaments in June and begin the Babe Ruth trail tournaments in July.  More information on team selection will be provided in the spring.

More ASBR All-Star team details...

The trail includes District, State of Virginia, and Southeast Regional tournaments (for teams that finish first or second in the State Tournament). 

• Schedule:  Team play will begin in June and continue through July (3 or 4 practices during the week). There will be some tournament competition in addition to playing the Senior Babe Ruth Trail. 
• Southeast Regional winners play in World Series with countries from all around the world in August, so August baseball is possible (Arlington has played in the World Series at 13u, 14u and 15u in the past 6 years. Another Virginia team played in 16u World Series in 2025).
• In total, the team will play a minimum of 4 tournaments.
• Practice on Arlington Fields (Tucker Field at Barcroft and Arlington High School Fields).
• All-Star players must play on a  Senior Babe Ruth Spring 2026 team to be qualified to compete in the Babe Ruth Trail. High school ball players will have a modified season that will begin after the high school season.
